OUR STORY
Hello to all couples! I am Isabella. I am Australian and Taormina is my husband Tony’s hometown—this is where we live and work.
Tony owns and runs a local pub and bistro which he opened in 1981. Throughout the years our pub has become a meeting point for locals and tourists who come and holiday in our gorgeous little town. Owning a pub has given us the opportunity to meet and liaise with many foreign people and that's how it all started.....
It began one warm evening at our bar. Lydia and Brian, an Irish couple who had become regulars, sat down looking heartbroken. When we asked why, Lydia whispered, "Brian proposed today!" But her joy was overshadowed by frustration. Between the language barrier and the complex bureaucracy, they had been told a legal ceremony was impossible. "It’s just not going to happen," she told us. We couldn't bear to see their dream slip away. "Come with us tomorrow," we promised, "we’ll help you find a way." After a few hours of translating and navigating local offices together, the "impossible" became a reality. The frustration vanished, replaced by the best news of the summer: "Yes! There is going to be a wedding in Taormina soon!"
Since then, mostly through word of mouth, foreign couples have visited us asking to assist in organising their weddings too. We believe the main difference between ourselves and other planners is that we are based in Taormina, therefore 100% personal service is guaranteed.
